Sometimes it's easier to watch it done rather than be told how to do it (for me anyway) soooo the plan is a couple of short youtube videos covering a few of the basics Drilling holes in glass - quick Bevel the edges the easy way Decal paper - its no mystery but there is a trick Making your own small casting molds
What I do - kilnformed glass (fusing), ceramics (clay), some lampworking (melt glass with a torch) and just trying to satisfy my need to create.
Transplated yankee in central Arkansas - land of hunting, fishing, tornadoes and the occasional redneck sighting.
I do wear shoes, I do have my own teeth, plural.
I will admit to wearing overalls once in a while, I don't know Bill or Hillary and don't care to.
I am taking a sabatical from my real job and now work everyday in glass and clay.
I create with my hands, my mind and my heart and soul so I guess that makes me an artist although I mostly consider myself a bonefide fulltime experimenter and thats what I want to share here.
No words of wisdom or movie reviews....just whats
cookin in the kiln at any given time -- and maybe an occasional kudos or rant but other than that....in the big scheme of things...nothing thats of much importance to anyone.
But hey, ya know, Life is short....
